Indy Racing League

The Indy Racing League was established in 1996 to ensure the integrity of American open wheel racing by creating a level playing field and providing IRL teams and sponsors with a cost-contained competitive environment that races exclusively on oval tracks.

The IRL is unique in the world of motorsports in that it offers sponsors the opportunity to be a part of a nationally and internationally recognized, affordable racing program including the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing”, The Indy 500. As the fastest growing, pure oval track series in the nation, and with a total of thirteen races in ten of the top thirty television markets in the USA, the IRL offers the greatest exposure value for the sponsor dollar.
